When designing this wedding, the team and I were completely blown away by the architecture of the venue selected by the wedding couple. Our task became how can we match the glamour of the venue while realising the couple's vision by keeping things personal and intimate. The team took advice from German sensibility and focused on the details complimenting the architectural beauty of the venue in an honest way with our design.

The Hotel Atlantic Kempinski, chosen by the wedding couple, provided the pinnacle of luxury for the couple's wedding ceremony and wedding reception. This grand hotel which opened in 1906 and is situated on the shores of Lake Alster in the heart of Hamburg truly was a summer oasis.
Our expert floral vendors created this special tight round nosegay bouquet featuring freshly cut blush nude roses, mini roses, strawflowers, and baby's breath.

"I have found the one whom my soul loves." Song of Solomon 3:4
This wedding ceremony was very personal and full of love. The aisle was lined with white rose petals and floating candles in mixed height vases. There were no seating arrangements, so guests were free to sit wherever. The stationery was modern and a card was left on every seat for guests to write down advice for the newlyweds or a prayer. After the ceremony all cards were collected and sealed off in a box to be reopened on future wedding anniversaries.
The Mrs Wedding Planner team decided to keep the design of the wedding reception classic. Tablescapes and table settings were created to compliment the grand ballroom's stunning architecture. Chanel chairs surrounded round tables which were grounded by tall floral arrangements, while the tables flowed around the dance floor. The room was headed by the bridal party high table.
As requested by the stylish bride, our team brought back the traditional high table framing the grand fireplace. The high table was covered in creme lace and crystal candelabras were set at the end of each side of the high table, mimicking the chandeliers in the grand ballroom. The floor of the high table was lined with mixed height candles, while a table-length flower garland matching the floral bouquets of the bride and her bridesmaids completed the look.
